Super Saturdays

Super Saturdays is a half-day weekend personal and professional retreat designed for students, youth, teachers and administrators to help all find their inner super hero. Sometimes in-service days do not coincide with the emergence of critical issues and crises. Super Saturdays provide an opportunity to get solutions to your most pressing challenges when you need them for teachers and administrators, and without disruption of instructional time for students.

For Students:

The Dream Team compromised of educators, a clinical and educational psychologist, youth motivational speakers, mental health speakers and multiple helping professionals work with the highest risk children and families on issues on Character, Choices & Consequences. The facilitators use extremely engaging and interactive approaches to keep students alert and active.

Super Saturdays occurs from 10a – 12p to include lunch for students in need of additional social-emotional learning (SEL),  character education, impulse control and behavior modification.
This time is designed to help students find their inner super hero.  Our team understands that sometimes traditional school hours do not coincide with the emergence of critical issues and crises. Super Saturdays provide an opportunity to get solutions to your most pressing challenges when you need them without disruption of instructional time for students.
Students are placed in various focus groups depending on target behaviors, gender and age.  Each Saturday session concludes with a parent engagement seminar to ensure all are on the same page.
Cost considerations: Cost per student with a minimum number of 40 students for a total of three (3) on-site Saturday consultations and one (1) Parent Night Out session to support Family & Community Engagement for children and families of your entire district as well as community members to be scheduled in conjunction with a Super Saturday.

For Teachers:

Super Saturdays offer personal and professional development workshops for all grade levels and subject areas. These can be scheduled anytime during the year and are customized for your specific group of participants and time frame. Super Saturdays offer personal and professional development for those interested in becoming administrators and superintendents.
